Curriculum Intent
Students will experience and develop key skills such as coordination, cooperation, communication, creativity, fitness and well-being through a broad range of sports and physical activities.
They will study theses skills using a variety of different sporting experiences including net and wall, invasion games, gymnastics, outdoor adventurous activities, athletics and striking and fielding.
Students will learn to apply different techniques, tactics and skills across this variety of sports. Also embedding key morals in line with the ethos of the Catholic Community these will include respect, fair play, and sportsmanship. Giving them knowledge of how to improve their health and well-being for a lifelong participation in physical activities.
They will also be able to experience success and learn perseverance through exercise and competition giving them skills to cope with everyday life for social, physical and mental health.
